Pubescent Wheatgrass

Pubescent Wheatgrass is like intermediate wheatgrass, but contains short, stiff hairs on the seedheads. This wheatgrass is also slightly more drought tolerant and remains green during the summer months. Pubescent wheatgrass is commonly used for hay production, grazing, erosion control, and as a nesting cover for waterfowl and game birds.
