Blue Medallion 20% Medicated Dairy Calf Starter is a high quality, all natural 20% protein, steam-rolled ration that contains a blend of grains and source of digestible fiber, high levels of minerals and vitamins, natural and artificial flavors to enhance intake. This ration is medicated with decoquinate to aid in the prevention of coccidiosis.*This feed contains added selenium at 0.3 mg/kg.
Blue Medallion 20% Medicated Calf Starter Ration is made from steam rolled corn and oats, to be fed in small amounts to young calves receiving a milk replacer or of weaning age. It is designed to get calves onto dry feed, therefore accelerate rumen development and enhance rumen function. It will economically increase growth rates and will prepare the young calf for future growth stages such as breeding age.Blue Medallion 20% Calf Starter is to be fed continuously for at least 28 days during periods of coccidiosis or when it is likely to be a hazard. Provide this feed at a level which when fed as directed will provide 0.5 mg decoquinate per kg body weight per day.
