The 17% Layer Diet is designed to be fed to layer hens from approximately 5% lay to end of lay. This diet is intended to be fed at approximately 95 - 110 grams per hen per day. The exact feeding rate will be determined by the strain of bird, body weight and condition and barn temperature. Oyster shell or insoluble grit could be sprinkled on the feed once a week at the rate of 0.5 to 1.0 kg per 100 birds. Allow hens access to fresh water at all times.
